Born and raised in the bayous of Louisiana, music and art have always been part of my soul. As the son of an engineer and a fine artist, this combination made me a naturally hands-on creative with a multi-hyphenate approach to everything. From cinematography, directing, producing, editing, shooting stills, and writing scripts, I love getting dirty and creating art in advertising.

After getting my MFA in Photography from UMASS Amherst, I was an artist-in-residence in Houston at the Glassel School in the CORE Program. There, I segued into the film world, finding my way to Atlanta, where I started my directing career. Launching my own company at an early age, I began a long career of broadcast commercial directing while executive producing and editing all of my projects. Writing and developing projects along the way, as a true client-friendly creative, I began my journey into Creative Directing, which led me to where I am today - building brands and leading teams on creative journeys.

At my core, I am still an artist at heart. I love culture, music, visuals, concepts, photography, film, and all challenges. I willingly put myself in the line of fire on each and every project I tackle - and I love it.

I’ve worked on projects on six of the seven continents with clients all over the world, from building experiential projects, shooting films for Expo in Dubai, developing campaigns for multi-million dollar startups, building brands from the ground up, and working for government, regional, and international Fortune 500 brands. I’ve worked for ESPN, Daimler Benz, GM, Ford, AT&T, Verizon, Domtar Paper, Pernod Ricard, Coca-Cola, and Procter & Gamble, among others, among other blue chip companies. There is almost nothing I haven’t had the opportunity to put my mind, blood, sweat, and tears toward.

I have worked for culturally diverse markets requiring sensitivity, international communications, and a great capability to break cross-cultural communication barriers. My two decades of experience producing studio and location commercial film projects throughout Los Angeles, the United States, and every major film market has left me an incurably positive and collaborative creative. I have built my contacts globally as a technically savvy team leader and content developer with outstanding studio and development relationships in the advertising and entertainment industries in LA, throughout the U.S., and Internationally.

As a creative leader helming low-budget to multi-million-dollar ad campaign productions under strict time and budget constraints, my communication skills are something I’ve refined over the years and I love collaborating with other creatives and artists with the same ultra-high-end goals.

All hands on deck is the way I roll.

The further backward you look, the further forward you can see.

WHAT INSPIRES ME

I am a lover of history and culture. Those that came before me, broke new ground, dared to be different, lost and won… It’s they that inspire me.

Art, music, film, literature, science, all things that create invention and thrive in risk, drive my daily thinking. There is nothing to lose but everything to gain.

We learn from studying the past, but we can only create with an open mind and the freedom to collaborate and learn from what happens around us. All great art exists in simultaneity with the science, literature, and culture of the time. If your lens isn’t wide enough, you won’t make great art.

I’ve been called an obsessive learner, a serial reseacher, and info-junkie. The truth is that I love to experience new knowledge and dive into new experiences. My heart beat seems to be tied to each coming challenge.

I have been lucky enought to have experienced a great many people and cultures in my work. It informs every new project I take on and inform who I am.

From film, to print, to social, to experiential, to out-of-home, the work has to challenge the mind and convery the soul of the brand to honor the history of the culture that came before.

This challenege ispires me.
